History

Empresa Brasileira de Bebidas e Alimentos (ebba) was established in March 2009 with the purpose of holding Dafruta and Maguary brands, acting in the market of integral and ready to drink juices. The corporation’s head office is located in the capital city of the State of Pernambuco and it is a result of the partnership between the members of the Tavares de Melo family, who founded both brands in the past and, therefore, hold the business’ expertise.

Dafruta

For 25 years in the market, Dafruta is part of the history of the industry of juices in Brazil. It is a company that values out not only quality, but also innovation, launching the first concentrated juice with soya and the first concentrated of assai and guaraná, besides conquering a distinctive position in the segment of juices ready to drink.

Maguary

Launched in the 50’s, Maguary is leader in concentrated juices and top of mind among consumers of the segment. It has innovated with the launching of packages with plastic screwing lids and PET packages and with the introduction of several flavors in the market, providing the natural taste of the fruit and much more practicality to consumers. “Maguary, Maguary is the juice”.
